Yuri Productions
is a music label created in Seattle, Washington, by Yuri Mamchur and now based in Nashville, TN.
The release of the new solo piano CD “In the Harbor” gave me a reason to seriously consider creating an independent label. I want to market my music, and promote other artists who compose music, but don’t want to deal with the production side of it.
Yuri Productions is home to many styles of music – Piano, Techno, Smooth Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop, Industrial, etc. You might think that the idea of presenting all the different genres in one place is crazy. However, I think that it does not matter what the style is, as long as there’s a Melody. In my opinion, Melody is the key to any music, whether it’s a classical opera, or a hard rock song. The goal of Yuri Productions is to keep the “real” music alive within any genre.
You can enjoy one-minute previews of the compositions on the Music page. Some tracks are also presented in full. Besides the already produced projects, Music page features some of the unpublished material, or compositions that are currently being developed.
Make sure to stop by the Pictures page. Though this isn’t a designer’s website, there will be a large Pictures Gallery, to portray the beauty and reality of the world around us; the world that gives composers and musicians their inspiration.
Flash Range's new CD “On the Way” features the famous British voice and guitars by John Mitchell (Arena, Kino, It Bites) accompanied by Andy Edwards (IQ, ex-Robert Plant's "Priory of Brion") and John Jowitt (IQ, ex-Jadis) in the melodic and inspiring songs composed by Russian musicians.
The music on “In the Harbor” is composed and arranged by me, and performed by a great pianist, musician, and friend Kenton Lee of Tacoma’s Life Center. The piano featured on the CD is the retired Billy Joel's 9-foot Steinway, recorded at Jim Bredouw's "Friend's Place" Studio on the beautiful Orcas Island, Washington. The CD is mastered in Issaquah, WA, designed in Tacoma, WA, and produced in Seattle, WA. The front cover features a stunning view of Gig Harbor, WA. I can proudly state that it is a local project, created by people residing in all the scenic spots you will see on this website and on the CD cover. This CD is also my personal tribute to the beautiful American Northwest, where I have spent several years as a guest and a resident.
