Flash Range -- a progressive rock band founded by Russian producer Andrey Dudkin -- features famous British voice and guitars by John Mitchell.
Flash Range's EP On the Way (released in 2009) consists of four melodic and inspiring songs composed by Russian musicians. John Mitchell (vocals/guitars) is joined by Andrey Dudkin (keyboards), Andy Edwards (drums), John Jowitt (bass), and Alexey Dudkin (guitars). The British musicians are well-known for their affiliations with such bands as Arena, Kino, It Bites, IQ, Robert Plant’s Priory of Brion, and Jadis. The project was recorded by John Mitchell in Outhouse Studios (Reading, England) in November 2007 and produced by Andrey Dudkin. The postproduction took place in 2008 in Seattle and on Orcas Island, WA, Nashville, TN, and St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia. The songs are composed by Andrey and Alexey Dudkin and Yuri Mamchur. |
